| GLOBALIZATION:
poor nations receiving the benefits of affluent nations rhetoric |
 |
Globalization is the attempt by the avarice-motivated affluent
to extend the base layers of their transnational economic
pyramids down into the mud and dust of intercontinental slave-labour
and thereby provide a more distributed foundation
for the additional control levels at the pinnacles.
This is generally achieved by fronting a publicly plausible co-operative initiative
that presents an economic procedure purporting to assist development of the under-privileged,
whilst in fact further enhancing the gains of those manipulating the exercise.
Deception is nature's way of
promoting self interest and to suppose such actions were not designed to deceive,
would be to suppose that one of the prime evolutionary
stratagems had suddenly ceased to be effective.
It is expected that the insulated financial pyramids thus constructed will be
so architecturally impressive and
have such a high albedo of reflected esteem and self-sustaining
honour,
that even with a telescope of moderate resolution
it will be possible to see many of them from
the first colonies of exploitation on Mars.
The purple prose, with which the rich assure the concerned about their
initiatives to combat poverty is at best futile and at worst cynical.
Even when the poor nations get large injections of
aid or have their debts cleared, unless there is an intrinsically socialist
organization, any improvements for the most needy will always be marginal.
The group in power will ensure that the
reconfigured redistribution of resources is securely channelled in their direction
and that it is not wasted on those individuals who do not understand how to manage their affairs.
They understand clearly that it is either the will of the gods
themselves as to who should be poor, or it is the moral turpitude and laziness of the poor
which has resulted in their condition.
There is no point in dissipating funds trying to change what the gods have decreed.
Neither is there any point in giving alms to the unworthy who only ever fritter it away on
luxuries.
So often, due to the perverse self-serving ingenuity of
human nature, rules and laws
and strategic initiatives actually achieve a result opposed to the stated
intention.
Globalization is one such strategy since although the promulgated objective
is economic equity, the actual consequences are that the rich get richer at a
historically unprecedented rate.
